Wave-fold curtains
Wave-fold is the heading that made curtains modern again. The fabric hangs in one continuous, even S-curve, with no hooks or pleats showing.
The wave comes from the track, not the curtain. A ripple-fold track has gliders joined at a fixed spacing, usually 60 or 80 mm, and the fabric is sewn to a tape that snaps onto them. Because the spacing is fixed, the folds are identical along the whole run and stack neatly when open.
It suits sheers, linens and lighter lined fabrics. Heavy velvets can be waved too, with a wider glider spacing so the fold does not look crushed. We keep sample tracks in the showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Tighter for sheers, wider for lined fabrics.
Ceiling or wall fix
Recessed into a ceiling slot where possible for the cleanest line.
Corded, hand-drawn or motorised
Wave tracks take Somfy and Fujikawa motors without changing the look.

Does wave-fold use more fabric?
About 2 to 2.2 times the track width, similar to a pinch pleat. The cost difference is in the track.
