Motorised curtains in Dubai
For tall windows, wide sliding doors and anyone who is tired of pulling five metres of fabric by hand, a motorised track does the job silently from a switch, a remote or your phone.

We have fitted motorised tracks since the early Somfy systems and now install Somfy and Fujikawa as standard. Both are quiet, both stop softly at the ends, and both can be scheduled so the sheers open at seven and the blackouts close at sunset without anyone touching them.
Mains-powered motors need a socket near the track; where there is none, a rechargeable battery motor avoids chasing cables into a finished wall. On a villa build we work with your electrician to have the points in the right place before the ceiling closes.
What we make
Somfy and Fujikawa
Two motor ranges, both with a five-year motor warranty and spares held in Dubai.
Control your way
Wall switch, hand-held remote, timer, or app control through Somfy TaHoma, with voice control via Alexa and Google.
Battery or mains
Battery motors recharge from a plug in about six hours and run for months.
Retrofit
We can motorise curtains you already have if the track is suitable, or swap the track and re-hang the same curtains.
Questions
Asked at most visits.
How much more does motorising cost?
Guide figure: from AED 1,400 per track for a Fujikawa system and from AED 2,400 for Somfy, on top of the curtains. Exact prices depend on track length and control options.
What happens in a power cut?
Mains motors have a manual override and the curtains can be moved by hand. Battery motors are unaffected.
